Join CITAP on Friday, September 10 for a discussion of The Promise of Access with author Daniel Greene and CITAP researchers Alice Marwick and Tressie McMillan Cottom.

The panel will take place in the Pleasants Family Assembly Room in Wilson Library at 10:30am.

Dr. Cottom praised the book as "a great foundational text for critical organizational studies of knowledge production, STS & comparative qualitative methods," noting also that the "introduction is a nice summary of how 'skills gap' and 'digital divide' narratives morphed into what he calls the access doctrine — a fungible, expansive set of interlocking provisions for technology firms to enact neoliberal politics at multiple scales."
