Co-hosted by CITAP and UNC-Sociology, Forrest Stuart will be joining us to give a talk, "Institutional Decision-Making in the Digital Age: The Case of Social Media Data in Criminal Courts."
This talk is UNC Sociology's Doris Selo Lecture. The Doris Selo Memorial Fund was established in honor of Doris Selo to bring nationally known sociologists to Carolina each year to address faculty & graduate students on important issues & trends in sociology.
Forrest Stuart is a Professor of Sociology at Stanford University, and the director of the Stanford Ethnography Lab. He is also a MacArthur Fellow.
